We value every customer and aim to provide the best hosting experience possible. We understand that sometimes, you may need to cancel a service or plan. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work, what you can expect, and how we handle related charges or refunds.
By signing up for our services, you agree to follow this policy as part of our overall Terms of Service.
Purpose of This Policy
This policy ensures transparency and fairness between Host Nimble and our customers. It clearly outlines the process for canceling services, eligibility for refunds, and any associated conditions or fees.
Our goal is to make the process simple, quick, and hassle-free.
Services Covered
This policy applies to all services provided by Host Nimble, including:
- Web hosting plans (shared, cloud, VPS, or other)
- Domain name registration or renewal
- SSL certificates
- Email hosting or related add-ons
- Website builder tools and digital solutions
- Other subscription-based or recurring services
How to Request a Cancellation
You can cancel your services at any time through one of the following methods:
a) Via Client Dashboard:
- Log in to your Host Nimble account.
- Go to “My Services” or “Billing.”
- Select the service you wish to cancel.
- Click “Cancel Service” and confirm your reason.
b) Via Email or Support Ticket:
If you prefer, you may also contact our Support Team by email at [support@hostnimble.com] or through your client portal. Please include:
- Your full name
- Registered email
- Service name or domain
- Reason for cancellation
Once submitted, our billing team will review and process your request.
Notice Period
To ensure smooth handling, we recommend submitting your cancellation request at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.
- If you cancel before renewal, your service will remain active until the end of your current paid term.
- If you cancel after renewal, the service will stay active for that billing period (unless eligible for a refund under our Refund Policy).
We do not automatically prorate or refund unused days unless otherwise stated.
Automatic Renewals
Most Host Nimble services renew automatically for your convenience.
- To avoid unwanted renewals, you must cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date.
- Once renewal payment has been processed, the service is considered active for the new term.
- Refund eligibility for renewals follows our Refund Policy.
If you need help disabling auto-renewal, contact our support team before your next billing date.
Refunds on Cancellations
Refunds depend on the type of service and the timing of your request:
- Hosting Plans: Eligible for a full refund within the first 30 days of purchase (see Refund Policy).
- Domain Registrations/Renewals: Usually non-refundable after successful registration or renewal due to ICANN and registrar rules.
- SSL Certificates: Refunds are available only if canceled within the first 7 days of activation.
- Custom or Add-on Services: Refunds are not available for custom work, setup fees, or third-party integrations once provided.
All refunds are issued to your original payment method or Host Nimble account credit, depending on your choice and method of payment.
Data & Account Handling After Cancellation
When you cancel a hosting or related service:
- Your website files, databases, and email accounts will be permanently deleted after the service is terminated.
- We strongly recommend downloading all backups and data before submitting your cancellation request.
- Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
- Domain names you registered remain yours until expiry and can be transferred to another provider anytime.
Cancellations by Host Nimble
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account or services without prior notice if:
- You violate our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Payments are overdue beyond the allowed grace period.
- Your activity poses a risk to our servers, network, or other customers.
- We receive abuse or legal complaints related to your service.
If cancellation occurs due to your violation, refunds will not be provided.
Service Restoration After Cancellation
If your service was canceled and you wish to reactivate it:
- You may request restoration within 7 days (for hosting) after termination, subject to data availability and an additional restoration fee.
- After that, restoration is not guaranteed, as data may have been erased from our servers.
Policy Updates
We may update or modify this Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
